Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on Friday January 9th, 1914 on the campus of Howard University by 3 determined and hard-working men:

Honorable Leonard Francis Morse

The principles of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. are Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. The colors are royal blue and pure white. The symbol is a white dove. The flower is a white carnation. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Sweet Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. are the only two, constitutionally bound, Greek-letter, brother and sister organizations.
